Note regarding Steps 19 and 26: I don't see this as correct in my way of thinking since the purpose of the Rending the Veil Sign is to open a portal/link to another realm/energy. Closing of the Veil in the same ritual that you're invoking elemental energies makes about as much sense to me as walking up to someone's house, closing the front door, and then trying to walk through it.
To Banish, perform ritual all over again only using banishing pentagrams etc. See SIRP for more details. ALWAYS banish after you've invoked any energy (but don't banish over top of a talisman you've just charged - you'll have to put that covered within your altar or out of the way and THEN banish/close portals etc.).
