1. Face East. Perform the Qabalistic Cross.
2. Trace the (banishing) Hexagram of Fire in the East. Then thrust the dagger/wand into the center of it and charge the visualized figure by vibrating "ARARITA."
3. Turn toward the South and trace the Hexagram of Earth. Thrust the dagger/wand into the center of it and charge the visualized figure by vibrating "ARARITA."
4. Turn to the West and trace the Hexagram of Air. Thrust the dagger/wand into the center of it and charge the visualized figure by vibrating "ARARITA."
5. Turn to the North and trace the Hexagram of Water. Thrust the dagger/wand into the center of it and charge the visualized figure by vibrating "ARARITA."
6. Return to the East and perform Analysis of the Keyword:
Extend arms in the form of a Tau Cross (straight out laterally to the sides like the letter T)and say:
"I.N.R.I." (say each letter)
"Yod Nun Resh Yod" (yode-noon-raysh-yode) As you say these letters, draw them in Hebrew in the Air before you from right to left. They should look like this.
"Virgo, Isis, Mighty Mother,"
"Scorpio, Apophis, Destroyer,"
"Sol, Osiris, Slain and Risen,"
"Isis, Apophis, Osiris."
7. Throughout the above keyword analysis, gradually raise the arms and lift the head upwards.
8. Now, vibrate strongly "IAO" (EE-Ah-Oh)
9. Return arms to Tau Cross position and say, "The Sign of Osiris Slain."
10. Make Sign of the Mourning of Isis (see Notes) and say, "L, the Sign of the Mourning of Isis."
11. Make Sign of Apophis and Typhon and say, "V, the Sign of Typhon and Apophis."
12. Cross arms on chest to form the letter X. Bow your head and say, "X, the Sign of Osiris Risen."
13. Say slowly with feeling "L." and give the Sign of the Mourning of Isis.
14. Say in a similar manner, "V." and give the Sign of Apophis and Typhon.
15. Say in a similar manner, "X." and give the Sign of Osiris Risen.
16. Now say "L.V.X." as one whole word. (Lux - pronounced Lukes)
17. Return to the Sign of Osiris Slain (the Tau Cross) for a brief moment and say, "The Light..."
18. Recross arms on the chest in the Sign of Osiris Risen and say, "...of the Cross."
